Do You Were Make Up?

Good Morning,

Last week as I was taking my daughter to school and my wife to work. My wife was sitting there putting on her make up on and my daughter asked her a question. Mom when can I start to were make up? And my wife responds with an answer and I begin to think. Cosmetics or makeups are wonderful! It helps people look great and create awesome looks. It covers up imperfections. And that’s great, because most people have some sort of skin imperfection. No one’s skin is perfect. It is likewise the same when it comes to character. Most people have some sort of imperfection. People aren't perfect, they make mistakes.

Sometimes people need makeup to help them through their imperfections, through mistakes and the boo-boos of life. Love is a great makeup to apply to mistakes. Love does not agree with the mistake. But it does help with recovery from it. Proverbs 10:12 says, “Hatred stirs up dissension, but love covers over all wrongs.” So don’t be so mean to others about every mistake they’ve made. Coworkers, uncles, kids, spouses, friends and the girl at the counter at McDonald's makes mistakes. Cars accidently get scratched, your shoes get stepped on, and your shirt stained. These are mistakes. Mistakes need love, not exposure. You don’t have to always beat a person to near death to teach them the errors of their ways.

Those who know the Real Points of Power know that sometimes, covering them with love as they correct the mistake will help. Don’t agree with mistakes, but try to help with recovery. Apply a covering of love. See the difference it makes in how you get along with others, especially those who are different from you. - - This has been your weekly power point. Have a beautiful day.

Next Time Excuses!!

Hello,

Have you ever met somebody who has an excuse for absolutely everything I mean everything but, they never accomplish anything? Ask them to do something, and they have an excuse. The date is wrong, it’s too hard, it cost too much, there isn’t enough time, or the famous how about the next time. This weekend I missed out on a great opportunity, because I made an excuses of why I wanted to stay in bed. Excuses! If you are not careful, you will spend your entire day, perhaps your entire life, waiting on the next time. Some opportunities come seldom and many others come only once. Some people may say well maybe this wasn't for you or God didn't have it in your plan. These are excuse to continue in living an average life. But, don’t you think it’s time you got going on some of your dreams and desires. Next time may never come. This time may be the best time ever for you. You may never have enough money, or the right timing may never come. But don’t let these be excuses that keep you from enjoying your life. Life is too wonderful to waste on next time excuses. You could become one of those next time people who never experience the richness of this wonderful world. So the next time you have a next time moment, consider doing it this time. - Romans 14:5 says, “One man thinks one day is more important than another. Another man thinks every day is the same. Every man must be sure in his own mind.” - Discover what’s important to you. No more excuses this time. Let's Make It Happen!! - - This has been Your Weekly Power Point. Have a wonderful day.

Marathon Race

Good Morning,

As I was praying about this weeks power point and what it was going to be about. My mind quicken on the thought of a marathon race. With this down turn in our economy some may have had to start to reinvent themselves. For some your age may be factor or your education level may be factor. To why you can't go after some of our dreams. But, Paul said in the bible "the race is not given to the swift, nor to the strong, but unto him that is able to endure unto the end." So whether it a 6K or 10K race, or the Boston or New York marathons, you must be willing to go the distance to succeed you must be willing to endure the pain. It’s likewise that way when it comes to achieving you goals in life, you must be willing to go the distance and endure the pain! Life is not without sacrifices and pains. There are spousal pains, job pains, kids’ pain, school pains, and relationship pains. But when the goal is worth it, you will endure them, you will make it. Prepare today to go the distance. Hold on to your joy, happiness, good nature and calmness. Be patient with your friends and love ones. Go the distance with humility keep your ego in check. Whatever your goal is, you can Make It Happen! You can succeed. Follow Christ’s example and stay the course. Hang in there. Those who know the Real Points of Power know that being the best requires tremendous effort. It’s not just a race, it’s a marathon and you will make it. - - This has been Your Weekly Power Point. Have a good day.

Validated!!

Hello!!

As I was watching a show on TV yesterday (Homeland Security) I noticed that when you go throughinternational customs at airports is very interesting. They take your passport, examine it; and if all is in order, they stamp it. The stamp allows you to enter the country and move about freely. Without it, you have no legal rights there. You must have their validation. But you don’t need the stamp of others to be yourself. When it comes to living with joy, happiness, peace of mind and satisfaction, you don’t need another to give it to you, or make you feel special. You are already validated by God. You are not validated by were you live or what drive and don’t wait on others to grant you access to peace and contentment. It is in your hands, not theirs. Forget the negativity, disrespect, and misuse that come against you. Don’t waste energy trying to prove that you have worth. What matters is that God has already determined that you are special you already have access to his country, his kingdom, his joy and satisfaction! That’s good enough. Those who know the REAL POINTS OF POWER know that they can enjoy the freedom that comes through God's seal of approval. You are validated. - - This has been your weekly power point

Have a blessed day!
