Good Morning,
Just recently I purchased a new vehicle. As I was looking over the vehicle with my wife. I noticed that the sticker in the window stated that it was due up for an oil change. Jeremiah 31:25 says, “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” One very important part of maintaining good automobile performance is to have a regular oil change. The old oil is removed and fresh oil is added. This restores the engine to peck performance. In a likewise fashion, relationships and events require frequent restorations. Your marriage needs fresh conversations and encounters. Choose new and exciting things to do with your spouse instead of those same old stale routines and habits. Training your kids needs new approaches. Try asking them where they’ve been instead of blaming them for being late. Building your career needs a fresh direction. Try cooperating with your bosses instead of fighting them. Your day to day routine may need new wrinkles in it. Changing your route to work or were you eat for lunch might help. The point is to look for positive changes you can make in your day to day lives and relationships. Vacation in places you’ve never been; talk about things you normally don't; try foods that are different; Do something fresh! Get out of that rut! Get rid of that old oil – old habits, rituals and mind sets. Find ways to start fresh each day so you can enjoy your tomorrows with a long, healthy lifestyle, one filled with joy and peak performance. Those who know the "Real Point of Power" know your life needs regular maintenance. Don't neglect it. This is has been your weekly Power Point. Have a great day.
Sincerely,
J.L Godfrey
